Meet Michelle
Sonographer, leader &
international level powerlifter

Meet Michelle.
Michelle is a medical sonographer and department head who balances a demanding clinical role while training and competing in powerlifting. She started lifting at 50 and has since built a strong competitive foundation, stepping into the platform for the first time in 2021 and continuing to refine her craft. She’s a technical, driven lifter and her current personal best lifts are:
Squat: 137.5 kg
Bench: 77.5 kg
Deadlift: 145 kg

Michelle is competitive with herself, consistent, and committed to improving the details, especially in the squat and deadlift. Time pressure and self‑doubt are her biggest internal battles, but she continues to show up with intention and a clear focus on progress.

This year, her priorities are technical proficiency, confident execution, and keeping the joy of lifting at the centre of her training and competition.

She values coaching that provides structure, accountability, and clear direction, while still allowing flexibility around her other commitments. Michelle thrives when her programming targets specific technical elements and supports her long‑term development.

A late starter on paper, but a genuine athlete in practice, Michelle is proof that strength can be built at any stage of life.
